With the sequel to one of the most popular RPG titles to hit the Xbox 360 only just around the corner, Microsoft have come to the table with a Limited Edition Elite console to commemorate this epic release. I for one am dying for this game, this is just the icing on the cake for anyone after an Elite console to kick off 2010.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – January 18th, 2010 – The latest action-packed Xbox 360 title, Mass Effect 2, hits the shelves on January 28th and to celebrate Xbox is releasing a limited edition console featuring an Xbox 360 Elite, two black wireless controllers, a 250GB hard drive, wired headset and a copy of Mass Effect 2.
The highly anticipated sequel to BioWare’s award winning 2007 title Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 takes place two years after Command Shepard repelled invading Reapers bent on the destruction of organic life. Now a new mysterious new enemy has emerged and you will follow Commander Shepard as he attempts to stop the most terrifying threat mankind has ever faced. The game also features:
- Futuristic weapons: Choose from 19 different weapons, including devastating heavy weapons that can end a battle in seconds.
- Elite specialists: Recruit up to a dozen of the galaxy's most dangerous operatives to help you in your mission. Train and equip your team to survive insurmountable odds.
- The ability to explore the galaxy: Scan planets to uncover unique secret missions.
Available for $599*RRP, the limited edition console is available at participating retailers while stocks last.
Mass Effect 2 is rated MA15+ and available for $109.95*(TBC) RRP from January 28th.
