LIVE Activity for week of June 22nd

"WTFOMGBBQ" I hear you say? Yes. Yes yes and double yes. I thought I'd take the plunge and attempt a "port" of my good ol' XboxLIVE Top 10 listing from Xbox.com over to TGV. Massive Kudos to Linkwick who kept the thread up to date every week while I had switched some focus over to TGV, but now I thought I'd run down the lists for your amusement. And yes, I've cut it down to only 360 and XBLA as the latter two listings really didn't have any meat anymore.

The below just goes to show the effort Bungie puts in when dealing with the community and the level of support on offer from the developer. Halo 3 holds true at #1, no doubt on the back of rolling map pack releases for the epic title. #2 and 3 are Activision's babies, always staying close and holding a solid force of players everyweek.

The top 5 is rounded out with EPIC's Gears of War 2 and GTA IV. Although I'd hate to say, but without the solid support that the US offers GoW2, I don't think it would even be in the top 20 based on the "that's not my problem" attitude that EPIC seems to take to that tiny piece of the world outside the US. Whereas Rockstar's follow through of their amazing sandbox title with DLC after DLC deserves an accolade or 2.

With the quality on XboxLIVE it's no wonder the cream of the crop is all squashed into the top 10. With FIFA, UFC, L4D, Fallout 3 and Prototype all vying for their place ahead of the rest, it's almost down to chance as to where they'll sit week on week, which each game deserving to be in the top 10.

XBLA listing is much of a muchness, Magic: The Gathering holding top spot (checkout my latest blog for my thoughts) and the various more popular titles littering the rest of the listing, as they do every other week.

I'll try and keep this an on going weekly occourance for you all, so stay sharp, be good and for heavan's sake chillout! :P
