I'M BACK!!!!! YAY!!!!...or not?
Anyway, as some of you probably didn't notice i have been absent from TGV recently, this is because of 2 main reasons:
1) Got my Xbox 360 banned from Live, so have been doing allot of non Xbox movie/tv watching ect...
2) My mum got some knee surgery done so i have had to help take care of her a bit recently.
Both those problems are still there, but now i figured it was time i came back here, hoping that at least 1 person missed me haha :)
So it's been a long time between drinks (as they say...), and through most of that it's been a "steady as she goes" kind of boring rut. Not that I've been slummed up at home, in a chair ignoring the outside world, just that it's been the usual work, sport and relaxing on the weekends going on.
That is... 'til a fortnight ago...
Well, I'm back. Took off to the Gold Coast for a week with my fiancé, and tagged along with her Aunt, Uncle and younger cousins for the trip. T'was good, and going with others helped me to see the whole area again through the eyes of a child. And with my last trip that far north being over 15 years ago, boy has it changed a lot!!
My dog woke me up at 2am, then again at 5am this morning...When she woke me the second time I gave up trying to sleep....anyway, I am a bit bored at the moment so thought I would do this and fill in some time :)

Today is September 22nd, the day of ODST. If you are like me and not getting ODST till later this afternoon, and are looking for some things to keep you entertained, try some of these out:

Bioshock and Multiplayer. Not two (or is that three?) words that normally go together, but as we are all aware Bioshock 2 is set to change all that. So, what do we know? Well, for one, the multiplayer component (produced by Digital Extremes) is to play as a prequel. You're working for Sinclair Solutions as a 'product tester' of sorts who will be trialling a variety of home defense weapons. At this stage, just 3 different game modes have been set aside; deathmatch, team deathmatch and a currenlty unspecified mode involving Little Sisters. Plasmids (albeit weakened) will be available and could means some damn hectic fun now that you can combo with weapons. Some new plasmids have been included - namely Aero-dash and Geyser. Turrets and photography are also included, as is the opportunity pick up a randomly placed Rosie suit. I pity the fool who gets in the way of my rivet gun!!
Each player has the opportunity to carry two weapons (excluding unique melee weapons), two plasmids and three gene tonics as a starter. Every kill, turret hack, Big Daddy take down will earn you ADAM (which is like XP).
Delayed until early 2010....this is one that we're all looking out for.....well...I am!
How successful will this be? Sure it's been moulded on Halo and COD mp action, but is this really what gamers want? Time will tell! Either way, I'm looking forward to the next journey into Rapture....join me....would you kindly...
