Xbox Ambassador Spotlight #28 - Deejay Knight

Gamertag: Deejay Knight
Story Behind Your Gamertag: My nickname is DJ and I've loved the honour and status of Knights since I was a kid reading medieval stories.
Time as Xbox Ambassador: I've been an XBL Ambassador for 6 months.
Most Knowledgeable Genre(s): As much as I'd like to say RPG, it's all about FPS and Action games!
Time Zone and Time when Online and on Forums on an average day? Eastern time zone and I'm online normally between 5pm and 12am on any given day. :)
What was the main reason you had for becoming an Xbox Ambassador and how did you become aware of the program itself? My main reason for being an Ambassador is to be of assistance to gamers. I've always been happy to help people when I can, so the least I can do is spread that online, right?
What would you consider your 'specialty' area? My specialty has got to be the games! If I don't know an issue or answer to a question, I do my best to find it online.
What would you consider is your greatest contribution to the Xbox Community?
I'm a very personable guy, pick up on things pretty quickly and I'm an insufferable optimist, so I've gotta say that I have no idea, lol. I'm just happy to be here, and even happier that the team over at Xbox decided to add me to the team.
How do you best recommend that other gamers contact you should they ever require help in the future? PMs, XBL voice and text messages, my personal twitter account @DeejayKnight or my site's twitter account @GAMINGtruth.
How do you handle being asked a question you don't immediately have an answer to? My Google-Fu is strong, so I'm pretty good for finding answers. If that doesn't do it, I'd likely pop the game in and see if I could help
What would you like to see done to further promote the Ambassador program to the wider Community on both a domestic and international scale?
I think the best way to promote the Ambassador program is through the XBL Dashboard and other social media. While the Xbox Forums are a fantastic place to look for issues, a lot of casual gamers may not be aware of them. I think Facebook & Twitter would be fantastic starts.
Have you ever been involved in an Ambassador Playdate? If so, how was your experience? Any tips you'd like to offer? Unfortunately, I haven't made it to any Ambassador Playdates. Based on my experiences with other Ambassadors, I bet it's a blast, though!
If you could provide any information on a specific genre or game, what would it be?
FPS: Tons of people will disagree with me here, but I tend to crouch if I'm trying to get in the zone. It slows you down, so you're not rushing into a wall of bullets. It gives you time to survey the area!
Crackdown 2: If you're playing online co-op and have more than 3 stars on everything, put the game on the hardest difficulty setting! It's more challenging, but WAY more rewarding, IMO.
The Saboteur: Play it. If you haven't, it's one of the most creative games I've ever picked up a controller to play. You're actually doing yourself a disservice by NOT playing it, it's that cool.
